Panoramic glazing — large glazed planes from floor to ceiling, typical of new-build flats and houses with a terrace opening. This has nothing to do with decorative stained glass; it is a large-area PVC construction. At these sizes the structural strength of the profile and the weight of the glass unit matter, so we engineer the solution to the opening rather than taking it off a shelf.

Frequently asked questions
Does “panoramic glazing” mean decorative coloured glass?
No. In the local trade term, “vitraliu / витраж” means a large panoramic glazed construction — a wall of glass, not painted coloured glass. We make exactly these large PVC planes. Artistic stained glass is not something we do.
Won’t a large PVC plane sag over time?
Not if it is engineered correctly. The large plane is split into sections and the load-bearing profiles carry steel reinforcement sized by calculation. The classic mistake is pushing a thin profile past its limit to save a mullion — which is why we do the structural calculation before quoting, not after.
Won’t the room overheat in summer?
On a large glazed area facing south, yes, it is a genuine concern. The answers are solar-control glass and external shading. At the survey we assess the orientation and tell you what we recommend — we do not sell extra glazing when shading solves the problem.
Do I need a balustrade with a panoramic window?
If the glass goes down to the floor and there is no parapet, at height you need fall protection under the regulations. We do not add it to the price automatically, but we flag it at the survey and can provide it. This is exactly the kind of thing we prefer to raise early rather than have you discover at hand-over.
Does it open, or is it all fixed?
It is combined. Usually part is made fixed, for maximum light and lower cost, with one or two tilt-turn or sliding sections for ventilation and cleaning access. A fully fixed panoramic looks good in a photo but you will never clean its outside, so we always include at least one opening section.
How long from order to fitting?
Longer than an ordinary window, because it is a made-to-order construction with large-format glass ordered specially. We give the firm date after the survey and design, once the sectioning and glass type are known. We do not promise a short lead time we cannot keep just to win the order.
